Hayley Orrantia is an American performer, songwriter and actress. People are familiar with her because of her role in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular comedy television series 'The Goldbergs.' Even though she sings however, her passion for music. Music is the first passion she maintains; it is something she has dabbled at when she was nine years old. When she was 12 years old, music was taken seriously enough, that she started formal training. Following a few attempts at writing songs, she recorded her first album of music covers when she was fourteen. The music hasn't budged around ever since. Orrantia was born in the USA however she has Hispanic origins. She's proud of her existence of Hispanic roots, even though she was raised speaking English exclusively and has never lived in Mexico. Through studying Spanish and writing songs she tries to maintain the spirit of her culture. One of her efforts was a Spanish track titled "Hasta Verte..' Orrantia was selected to audition for The X Factor's first season during the summer of the year 2011. Orrantia received four "yeses" to the panel of judges on the Seattle live auditions after getting selected based on her YouTube submission. Her initial audition was in the show "Hollywood Week" as a solo artist. But, three other female vocalists as well as her were grouped together to perform for the remaining tracks. They were eliminated in the fifth week of live show.
