Hayley Orrantia, an American actress, singer and songwriter. People are most familiar with the character as Erica Goldberg in the comedy television show 'The Goldbergs'. She considers herself to be an artist first and foremost. It is the first thing that interests her. She is experimenting with since she was nine years old. When she was 12 years old, music became seriously enough that she began formal training. In 2013, she took on songwriting and produced her first album. Since then, there's no looking back. Orrantia was raised in the USA, yet is of Hispanic heritage. She's proud of her reality that she is a native of Hispanic roots, although she was raised in English only and never lived in Mexico. To keep her heritage alive she's enrolled in Spanish. Additionally, she creates songs using the language. One such song is 'Hasta Verte,' which she composed in Spanish. The summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the first episode of The X Factor. Orrantia auditioned, and was picked through YouTube videos, received an average of four "yeses," from judges at Seattle during live audition phase. At first, she auditioned as a soloist, she and three female singers were put together for the remaining auditions during "Hollywood Week". The group was eliminated from the show during the fifth live week.
