Annie Mist Thorisdottir, an elite CrossFit athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She runs and owns Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, in which she coaches athletes. Annie is the only female in the history of sports to have won her place in the CrossFit Games two times. She won the CrossFit Games in 2010 and finished second. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelandic weightlifter who is also a CrossFit athlete and a famous TV personality. The popular athlete is the first woman to win the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. Her other achievements include winning the Dubai Fitness Championships in 2013, 2017 and 2013. Annie was born and raised to Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and brothers. She was a keen sportsperson and started working out at the age of five. Her first participation was time in 2009, in the CrossFit Games held in California and did extremely well. Annie Thorisdottir is expected to turn 31 in 2021. She is 5'7" and her weight is approximately the 67-kg mark. Annie started her CrossFit experience in California in 2009. She performed well in initial competitions and was in the top 10 of the 70. Although she didn't claim any trophy and she finished her tournament in the 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Under the tutelage of Jami Tikkanen. Annie came in second at CrossFit Games and was awarded a Silver medal that same year. In the following year She took part again in CrossFit Games which she won because of her dominating performances. She was the first woman ever to be the winner of CrossFit Games. Annie has been the first female to have won successive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to her extraordinary performance. Also, in 2014 she received a silver-medal and recently in 2021 won the bronze medal in CrossFit Games. Annie is currently a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik, which she founded. Annie's increasing popularity as a athlete has made her the face of many sporting brands, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Nuunhydration and Periodization Sidekicks Yerb. Additionally, she owns a self-titled Youtube channel with around thousand viewers where her diet videos, family and travel videos are shared.
