Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American singer and actress is very well-known. In her early years Sara was targeted for racial discrimination by American citizens of all races. It was during her ninth grade that she gained confidence after receiving a rousing ovation in an audition. She not only gained confidence through the audition and gained experience, but also changed her the direction of her career. She attended the New York's Julliard School at the age of 22. In 1993 she had her Broadway debut with Paul Simon's The Capeman. Her first film was titled You've got Mail. Her greatest break came in the role of The Lady of The Lake as she appeared in the first Broadway production of Spamalot. She won the Tony Award and received great appreciation for her performance. Following that, in 2007, she was a cast member in the ABC program Grey's Anatomy and became more popular. Apart from being a popular singer, she released a solo as well as an extended version. In addition, she's an activist and works extensively for LGBT rights.
